Inventory of Services in Phenotyping GM Mice

Mouse phenotyping requires significant technical investments and most importantly, competent personnel and a longer time perspective in the activities.

The main task of WP3 is to make an inventory of available phenotyping techniques in Nordic centers. A first step is to obtain a list of services (techniques, methods and protocols) from established phenotyping centers and information regarding availability and pricing. A second major step is to coordinate and, if possible, standardize the protocols.

The information gathered aims at strengthening the communication and interaction between Nordic phenotyping centers and will be disseminated and made available so that Nordic scientists can get an overview of and access to competence.
